Welcome to 2014!!!
We headed up the street to Chuck and Lisa's place for a New Year's Eve Party. We rang in the New Year in style with fireworks. Lucky for us we have had two years of firework bans so we used up our summer fireworks in January. Charles did save the day by bringing a few big mammas. The twenty pack aerial fireworks. Legal in Utah now and so much fun. Especially fun in January when you don't have to worry about lighting the neighborhood on fire.
The Hales and Grandma and Grandpa Livsey stopped by after their movie to enjoy pina-coladas or hot chocolate. We were all freezing after the fireworks but how can you turn down a pina-colada? Not gonna happen.
A fun night was had by all. We especially enjoyed watching You-Tube videos on Chuck and Lisa's new big screen TV. You will not find me arch jumping in southern Utah from a bungee cord this year, or backflipping on a mountain bike but we are all geared up for a great 2014.
