This is day 2 of my Russian Impressionist class with Ann Marie Oborn. I did some research on the Sergei, the impressionist who Anne Marie studied under and I feel like I have a better idea of what we are going for. I painted outside on this for four hours this afternoon and then had my class in the evening with Simon Winegar and worked on it for three more hours. It was a lot of painting for one day but I feel like I got it.
I am really pleased with the results. I still have two more classes and I am hoping to get a portrait underway to have Anne Marie show me how to apply the technique to a face. It should be interesting.

Love it! You are very talented. I love the colors in the painting especially the orange flowers and red colors.
You are so talented. What beautiful pictures. I loved looking at your pictures of the summer.
