So those of you that follow the Pollan Post know that this year I came up with the brilliant idea to start a chess club at our school. So, we just finished our first session today and we had a tournament with all the kids in chess club. Well, my son and yes I am so proud, Carter took 1st place!!! Go Carter! He got a trophy and everything. Way to go Carter!!

That is so awesome! Both of my brothers were in chess club- I couldn't stand it so I learned how to lose in two moves to hurry things along (my older brother would try and see how long he could keep me from losing). Congrats Carter.
