We had such a fun Christmas break!! It was so nice to sleep in and enjoy a lazy morning for a while. I can't wait for summer! The kids and I made a list of things they wanted to do over the break and we spent two weeks playing! We went to the Children's Museum with the cousins and Carter and Christopher had way to much fun building this giant contraption...they had to kick us out at closing. Then we headed over to California Pizza Kitchen and I remembered why we always do take out from Little Caesars....$5 bucks doesn't go nearly as far at CPK.

Ali has fallen in love with puzzles. She wants to do puzzles all the time lately. She can put together some 50 piece puzzles all by herself now which makes her so proud she giggles. It is amazing that she will sit there for the longest time and just work on her puzzles. We bought her some new princess and tinker bell puzzles that are 100 pieces and she is getting so good at those. Of course, Jessie the dog always wants to be right in the middle of the puzzle, it is all we can do to keep her sitting to the side of us.

Now this is exciting!!! Ali finally put on socks and came skiing. She had her first day at Alta and LOVED it. She is a natural, we were telling the boys how much better she was than them on their first day and then I realized, it could also have to do with the fact that she is the third and Byron is a much better ski instructor than he was when we started with poor Carter. The harness is ingenious and is so far superior to a hula-hoop which is what we used after we decided holding them between the legs wouldn't work for long. She had so much fun and finally got a hot chocolate after skiing, just like the boys. It won't be long until we are trying to keep up with her.

This was Ali's first run down the rope-tow hill. It is so fun to watch your kids when they are really pleased with themselves....she was very pleased with herself.

The boys and I took off for a while to do some skiing through the trees. They love to ski through the trees. It is a good thing helmets are in style now -a-days....they may end up needing them. The boys enjoyed showing me their new skills as it has been at least a year since I have skied with them, maybe even longer.
