New Car- Ally's school performance-Eagle Project Progress

The end of an era. The belt blew on the Trailblazer. It's finally time to let her go.
Byron's Trailblazer finally died. It lasted an additional four years longer than I thought it would. He drove it to the end and thankfully when the belt broke on the freeway and it gave up the ghost he was not injured. It took a few days but since he had four years to think about it he quickly made his final decision. He is the happy owner of a nice Jeep Grand Cherokee. I named her Sexy Betty. It fits the car well. In the photo above Byron had fallen asleep reading the owners manual. So cute.

Ally and her two besties Olivia and Elle. They were working on the ukelele skills here. Ally did not get taken out after this performance as she decided singing and doing the actions along with her class was not her thing. She got the dreaded parent lecture on respect for her teacher and no trip to Orange Leaf.
Carter has been working on his Eagle Project with Santa Flight. They collected school supplies for a school in Enoch Utah. 40% of their families are under the poverty level and they really need the help. He got to fly down in an airplane with twenty other planes full of school supplies. Santa was helicoptered in and they loaded all the goods into army tanks to deliver to the school. It was really quite an awesome project. Carter was at the assembly and the kids all thanked them. He is happy to be done with his project and really enjoyed the process.
