May 2015

Tyler and his scout buddies. Blake, Thain, Ben and Tyler. Looks like they are getting ready to destroy those clay pigeons. Campout at the Bountiful Lions Club gun range. Byron really is a good sport taking all these boys out.
Piano recital time. Ally played a version of Fur Elise. She was really excited to be playing, only a tiny bit nervous.
Carter and Tyler did awesome. This was the first recital for everyone. Ty and Carter were not at all excited but were good sports and didn't give me to hard of a time about performing. All three kids did great on their pieces. I was impressed as a former piano student myself I can empathize with the nerves that go along with this recital business.
I should have edited this photo so the blender was not in the photo. Oh well, this is my latest painting. I have been using the palette knife and am loving it.
Tyler playing soccer in the rain....okay more like a downpour but the game must go on. Forza will reschedule for nothing, okay lightening but we didn't get lucky enough for a clap of thunder. The boys loved sliding around in the mud and slippy grass anyway. Probably their favorite game of the season.
It's Art Festival time again. Ally and her amazing ocean painting. She worked in watercolor for this one and she is particularly proud of the blue striped fish. I think it is all perfectly executed. I would think that though. She was awarded an outstanding artist award for this ocean drawing and it was hung in a local restaurant over the summer. Yeah Ally, so proud of you!
This boy....15! I cannot believe my luck as a mother. I have these three incredible kids and I couldn't be more proud of all of them. Carter though has a birthday this month. We went to Boondocks with a few of his friends and Uncle Jason. They all had a blast racing around and playing laser tag. Life is just flying by. I keep waiting for the day when Carter gets the "teenage disease" as we have been calling it now for years. So far we are lucking out and he is still the nicest, most agreeable, happy, book worm of a son. We are so happy for him and proud of all he does. I tell you this kid is a little genius and is going places. I can't wait to see what he becomes. He is going to rock whatever he decides to do.
