Our trip to Utah was definitely about seeing family and eating at all our favorite restaurants. Blue Iguana for the Puntes de filet was a must on the food tour. It was also great when we got to combine the food with the family. Win-win as they say.
I guess the teenagers say keeping the bubble cover keeps the water hotter. They had a fun time hanging out in grandmas hot tub. Ally even convinced me to get in one night as she said her cousins didn't want to. Then when we got in they all came out. It was a warm soak and fun to catch up with the cousins.
Quick trip to the temple in Bountiful. It was Ally's first time going to the Bountiful temple. We were glad India, Baden and Chortney and Deborah were able to join us. Got a few family names baptized. Deborah and I got to be witnesses for the first time. It was fun!
We got this photo of Carter and his comp having Thanksgiving dinner. They actually had two dinners that afternoon. He said they were very full. It was fun to get to chat with him for a minute or two. He seems like he's doing really well.

This is what being tired after cooking looks like! Quick rest before the next activity. Maui, Lydias puppy snuggled right into my mom. They were fast friends.
As seen on TV products at the grandparents house is always fun. This is some sort of an ab roller but none of us were very adept at it. I guess we all need stronger abs.
The pie line-up. Sonja and I cooked up eight pies for our Thanksgiving Feast. The first to be gone was the pecan so it was declared the winner.
It's not a party at my parents house if garbage rummy isn't played. Tyler trounced Nathaniel in this particular game. The next day though I got beat up. It's rough.
These girls doing a few cheerleader moves. It would help if any of them were a cheerleader! We had a fun visit and lucked out on the driving to and from. A little snow on the way there but clear roads for our drive home. It's always fun and entertaining to get the cousins together.
We found our way to the Bountiful Rec Center and met up with Charles and crew for a bit of ice skating. Luke kept me racing around the rink having an snowball fight made from the compacted ice dust. They were not so soft! Cute Kate quickly got her skating legs on and had fun working up her speed. Byron was trying to get backward skating figured out. I was trying to get a left footed hockey stop down. The crew stopped at Cafe Rio for lunch after working up an appetite. Well, we tried to go to Waffle Love but it was closed down so backup plan was Cafe Rio.
