So for Byron's birthday we got the idea to set up a Top Shot course...like the TV show but Top Shot Pollan style. So we got 2-liters bottles, an apple, milk jugs filled with colored liquid and coke cans and plastic plates with targets drawn on them and we all took turns shooting to see who was the top shot of the Pollan's.
The coveted item, the coke can turned out to be the most elusive item to hit. Alas, it was I the last to go who eliminated the Coke can and got the loudest cheer from the adoring fans. It sprayed everywhere and the kids had a fun time watching it explode coke everywhere. I hate to admit it but Byron and I tied on the number of items we hit and my shots were closer to the bulls eye so I was declared Top Shot on his birthday. I only felt a little bit bad about it. Okay so I totally rubbed it in but he is used to it I almost always out fish him as well. It was a fun birthday outing.
Carter is sporting his new spectacles and swears his aim is better because of them. Probably true since he needs glasses for distance vision.
Ali and Byron are working together here. She hit three our of five which I thought was impressive given the aiming difficulties there. We all got muddy but no bees to sting Tyler this time. Phew!
