Take-Apart Challenge
This is out of order because Tyler has his birthday before Ali but somehow he got skipped. Tyler wanted an at home party. We did a treasure hunt with a garbage bag of balloons for the treasure. They had to pop the balloon to get the treasure out of it. They had quarters, dimes and dollar coins inside. The boys loved popping and adding up their loot. They also had a piniata and played the take-apart challenge. We had two DVD players which had broken so we broke the boys up into two teams. First team to get a motor out of the DVD player and get it to spin using a battery was the winning team. They loved it! Byron had this genius idea a few years ago for one of Carter's party. The kids really enjoy the unscrewing and tinkering around inside a DVD player. He had a fun day!
I know everyone thinks their kids are the best but sorry mine really are. We love having Tyler in our family. He is such a cool kid and so level headed. He is most happy playing the Wii and is joyous at any new games he receives. He is also getting pretty slick at playing the guitar. He wants to be electrified soon and is working hard to meet the goal his guitar teacher set for him. He can't wait until he can get his electric guitar. Tyler is very good at school and is a great reader. Harry Potter is his favorite right now and he is halfway through year five. He remembers all these little details that I just can't recall from reading the series five plus years ago. We are so grateful to have Tyler and love him to death! We even love him when he is picking on Ali which seems to be his second favorite thing to do.
