Happy New Year~
We began the year off right with a trip to ski at Alta. This year has been pretty low for snow. We did get a good storm for Christmas though so that makes everyone happy. I do feel bad for the people who booked ski vacations and are left with machine made slopes. Not much better than the East Coast. We had a great time though. This is going to be a great year.
I have spent Christmas Break stewing. Stewing is never good for my beauty sleep! I have been questioning decisions I made for Tyler and Ally and have decided to call their old school and see if they can take them back for the second half of the year. I just hate it when I am wrong and it has been very hard for me to admit the new school wasn't keeping pace with where they were at LPA. Luckily for us they had a few openings and slipped the kids back in. So Tyler and Ally are starting the new year at Legacy. They are so excited. I was shocked because they seemed so happy at AISU but when I told them they were transferring back they both started cheering and jumping up and down. So, back to school shopping again to get back into uniforms.
Carter will continue on at AISU for high school. He is doing well and thriving in their program. Hopefully that continues in the future.

Ty got a hammock for Christmas. Jason was a champion and installed the support system in Ty's room. It took a good chunk of the afternoon and looks great. Tyler is very pleased and now Ally wants his room. Of course.
Ally slapped on her doctors lab coat left over from her school play costume and went to work solving all of our ailments. My trouble was cold feet. Diagnosis, put on socks and slippers and sit by the fire place. Problem solved. If only all things had such a straight forward solution.
Ally's bestie Olivia from AISU is moving to New York! What is she going to do without her? It is so hard saying goodbye. These two are adorable together and cute Olivia will be missed greatly. We hope she has a great time in the big apple!
Tyler and Byron headed off for a snow camp out with the Boy Scouts. They had a great time. I don't get it but am so grateful Byron loves to take the boys and adventure together. Another successful camping night added to the list. This kid is well on his way to the Eagle. Keep it up Tyler.
