We had a fun surprise set up by Papa Pollan this year. He arranged the backyard into a shooting range for the kids well and adults to shoot at while we were in Dallas. There were various targets set up around the yard and plenty of ammo to go around.
The kids had lots of fun using the cool scope and a 22 to take out the poor little metal squirrel. I never could hit that tiny bulls eye. My kids are much better shots than I am.
The surprise or maybe I shouldn't have been surprised but the big boys had more fun shooting this week than you would think possible. If you ever couldn't find one of the men there was usually a guarantee they were out back shooting.
Ali got her fair share of turns and got the hang of it pretty well.
Jason and Tyler hi-jacked my camera. I have a half dozen of these cool dude shots.
