String Party

Best String Party Ever! I found the Spider and the Fly book at a local boutique and bought it for Nanna Pollan. My kids were so excited to give it to her. She always quotes the first few lines of the poem at the start of her string party. Now we can read the whole thing and the kids are understanding the idea of being trapped in a web of compliments just to be eaten by the hungry fly. It is a cute kids book with a good lesson but the fun is really in the string party.
So this mega string party even ended up out in the yard, up the trees and in the doggy door. It was a fun surprise.
Ali is looking very pleased with herself. She kept wondering if her string was going to head out of doors like her brothers. Glad we added onto her line at the last minute so she wasn't disappointed.
Sadie was very pleased with her loot. The party is nearly as good as Christmas morning.
I was in charge of wrapping Carter's line and I made it TOUGH this year. He had a great time earning his prizes and being surprised at where his yarn was taking him. More good memories for the kids to tuck away in their little memory banks.
