String Party! Thank You Nana

Who spoils these kids better than their Nana Pollan? Nobody. This is better than Christmas in the eyes of my children. It's an old Victorian game where you follow the web along and you collect your prizes as you go. Anytime we get together with Nana the kids ask if there will be a string party. There nearly always is. This one may have been the best yet.
Tyler at the beginning of his string, getting ready for the fun.
Legos are always a hit at our house. This little engineer mind loves to build and take apart. Mostly take apart.
Our dramatic fashionista loves her new Texas shirt. There is always a bit of indoctrination towards the TX love that is included in the string party fun.
Even the momsies and the papsies get involved in the fun. It is similar to a game of lasers where you try not to get touched by the string.

Rock and roll kids, there are more prizes to be found.
Love this boy, he is so dang handsome.
So a little side story here... In this close up of Ty you can see he has been, well, singed a bit. He was put in charge of starting the grill the other night for dinner. Yes, there was a gas deluge of flames that encompassed his face for a few seconds. Luckily Ty's angels are always on top of things and managed to protect his beautiful face. Luckily his hair was long and covered his eyebrows nicely. No damage there. He lost about half his lashes so he now has a regular amount of lashes like the rest of us. They will grow back. He has singed hair clear back behind his ears. Poor kid. Not scared for life thankfully.
Carter knows how to get a good tight wrap on that pencil. Looks like a professional string party goer. This kid has the most experience being the oldest and all.
New shirt and Nana hugs. Life is good.
Loo at that sweet Sadie saddled up next to Ally. Cousin love is amazing. Thanks for all the great toys and the fun time Nana!!! You sure do know how to throw a great string party.
He's a bit obsessed with the Rubik's Cubes at the moment. He can solve the 2X2, 3X3 and 4X4....He is happy to have a few new challenges. How are my kids so much smarter than me?!?
