The snow ghosts....I just love them!!
So, I fell. Wipe out! I try not to fall as it is hard to get up. Getting old stinks. The view is nice though from down there.
I got cross country skis this year. I the skis at the salvation army and ordered a pair of boots from eBay. I started skiing the property and have really been liking it. I convinced Byron and Ally to rent some skis and we hit a trail up near the Whitefish ski resort. They were not very good to say the least but we had a great time. I don't think I have laughed this hard ever! They were falling every other second.
The two stooges. They couldn't stay on their feet to save their lives! Funnest cross country ski ever....ever. I will have to convince them to come again. For some reason Byron finds downhill easier. Probably the years of training he's had doing it.
Ice skating night with the stake. Ally and Payzlee are clearly having a fun evening looping around and around the rink.
Tyler is waiting in line for the limbo.... Yes, dangerous!
This cutie is working on her trombone skills. Ally and Sophie have been having a great time in band together.
The big view from the Big Mountain. Byron and Tyler got up for another ski day.
So, I dyed my hair. It turned out much warmer (redder) than I thought it would. It's hard. You never actually really know how the hair dye is going to react with your hair. It's better to just do blonde!!
Carter is checking on his grades. You can see by the smile that things went well! He got BYU on the brain. Got to keep the grades up.
I'm a regular sleuth out on the cross country skis now. I get to check out all the tracks and guess at what animals have been around in the yard. I think these are raccoon. Could be wrong though.
SO, the boys actually go camping here in the winter....winter!!! I don't know how they do it.
That hole in the snow is a snow cave. Some of the scouts slept in it. Yikes!
Cooper, Noah, and Tyler with a makeshift dog sled. They hook it up to a snowmobile and drag gear around in it. They used it in some kind of a race against other units.
They survived the campout without any frostbite or having any limbs amputated. I don't know how!
