Fall Colors Drive/Hike Conference Session

We love driving around and seeing the fall colors and listening to conference on the radio. Keeps everyone together and listening. So we packed up a picnic and headed for the hills. I think this spot is called Hidden Falls. It has awesome bridges and waterfalls. We arrived and were ready for our picnic when a cloud burst and it started pouring buckets of rain. We made the most of it and ate in the car. Indoor picnic! As we were finishing the storm blew off and we had a gorgeous sky while we walked around. When we got back into the car, more rain. Things change quickly in the mountains don't they.
Ty and I catching a selfie. He's such a handsome fella.
 The kids and I.
These kids are always up a tree, or climbing the face of a rock. They love to be outside adventuring.
Carter is diligently working on a sword project with his metal pouring. He is making layers of the styrofoam to then pour into aluminum. He loves these pour projects. Keeps him busy. What a good kid he is.
With Byron out of work we have been making the most of it with morning hikes along the East Bench. I have to say if money weren't an issue we could glide right into retirement without any problem whatsoever. I love-love having this guy home. It's so fun to hang out and spend time together.  I'm going to miss him when he goes back to the office. Hopefully not his month though!
Ahhh! Grapes...my grapevines are finally producing something. I've got red grapes and concord mixed together here. Can't wait to see what kind of juice and jelly we get off these. Bumper crop!!
