We love it when we run across an alpaca to hang out with.
Family night at the farm and we got to play in with the piglets. They were darling and loved smelling the kids shoes for some reason. Lots of giggling and toe tapping trying to keep the piglets from eating their laces.
The plastic slide was awesome. Byron went down first and tripped at the top and tumbled down. I had a good laugh at him and then went up for my turn and tripped at the top and tumbled down. I think it's booby trapped against adults. The kids had a great laugh after I took my tumble. Everyone was okay, only bruised egos.
This is the last ranch left in Salt Lake County. The dad died a few years ago and the kids are doing their best trying not to sell out so yeah Farm Fun for us. Hopefully they can make enough extra to keep their ranch going. It is gorgeous property and really close to the airport. They could make a killing selling it. Good for them though trying to keep the cattle business alive.
These are my people. I love them more than anything else.
The basement moves forward. Juan and his crew are fast. This whole room was done in about two days. Now they've just got to finish the bathroom.
Tyler doing his diabetes study check-in. He is a trooper to continue to let them poke and prod at him. His sugar levels were up at this visit. Not looking so good. He is borderline diabetic but no diagnosis yet. We're keeping our fingers crossed for a cure for Type I before he gets a diagnosis. Tyler is certainly doing his part.
