Wrapping up the Dallas weekend

No trip to Dallas could be complete without a fabulous string party. The kids got candy, books and cash oh and socks. Made them very happy. You string yarn about like a big spiders web. We went to the park and read the poem about the spider and the fly. Got a few mosquito bites and watched the fireflies. Then we came home and the party was magically ready to go. We are getting fast and stringing these parties.
More food...yummy cake and bluebell ice cream which might as well be made of gold.

We all got our new socks on and had a sock hop at in Nana's living room. Pulled the furniture out of the way and found some 50's music to dance to. Lots of hip swinging and sliding and even a bit of Russian dancing. It's tough in the slippery socks.

All the fancy new socks ready to hop. It is always a joy to go and visit with the Pollan's. It was so nice to celebrate the life of Fanny and we are all so glad she is back with Red in heaven. Thankfully we know that this is not the end but we phase out to the next step in this long journey. She was ready and we will miss her until we join her, she was one amazing woman.
