After church Byron, Sadie, Ally and I snuck away on Sunday to visit a few alpaca farms. It was open farm days for alpaca ranches and I was so sad to miss the one in Utah until I realized there might be one in Dallas. We found two and they were amazing. These darlings did not disappoint. They were fluffy and sweet and cute. I am researching whether or not I want to raise alpacas when we move to Montana. I may be convinced.
How could you not love these little darlings? So fluffy I want to die!
Puzzling is a tradition in the Pollan household. These were fun as we got to color them in after we put them together. Then the next time we put them together they were easier. Fun to sit around and chat and doodle.
And there was just enough time to fit in a trip to the Dallas Aquarium. The kids especially enjoyed the sharks swimming over our heads. The Dallas Aquarium is pretty much a zoo though with all the variety of animals it has. So many birds and a manatee. We love the manatee. Monkeys in the trees and all sorts of fun things to look at. Also, they enjoyed recalling how I dropped my lens cap into the crocodile exhibit. Not this time.
When they get to quiet you know there's trouble. Lots of rain makes well, lots of mud. They look like animals in the zoo. Pretty sure Hollie's kids wouldn't have done this without the influence of my kids so. You're welcome. Older cousins are more fun.
