So the parents decided it would be fun to stop for a hike on the way into Jackson. The kids thought that was a terrible idea. They just wanted to arrive at the condos when everyone else did. We stopped for huckleberry shakes and burgers on the drive in and then hit the train at the Grand Targhee Ski Resort. This hike was a bit more strenuous than expected. We had a little arguing on the way up but once it was determined we were in fact hiking so get used to it everyone settled in and had a fun time. Nathaniel joined our car back in the church parking lot in Idaho. 
We were a little tired when we got to the top. The boys had to lay down for a rest. We did a bit of fossil hunting and came up with lots of awesome shell fossils. Who would think there was ever an ocean where we are standing. That is a lot of earth shifting to get the sea shell fossils up to the top of the mountain. Nature is weird and amazing and also beautiful. 
You know if there is a ski lift around in the summer time we are going to climb it, right? Second ski lift climb for the month of August. 
Nathaniel and I both brought along our Ukulele's and we had fun jam sessions in the evening a few nights. We rocked it!
