These cuties waiting in a sprinkle of rain for Amanda and Josh to come on out. The rain stopped for photos and cleared up for the day. Blessings from above, outdoor reception!
Do they look excited or what? Beautiful ceremony and happy day. They made it. Phew!
I love this little Miss Amanda of mine!
Cousins....lots of cousins!
Here is my handsome patient husband waiting for me to finish taking photos of my darling niece. I think he nearly starved to death.
Let's get this party started. I was in charge of decorating for the reception. We ordered flowers while were in Jackson and they were delivered to my darling neighbor who took them in for me. Costco did a great job. Not quite coral colored roses but close enough. We had a flower party on Tuesday and arranged all the vases so they were ready to set on tables when we got to the reception. I decorated little vases before Jackson so they were ready. It all came together so nicely. Of course I did have my crew of sisters and sister-in-laws to help me. My Mom made the coral table toppers. Everything turned out so cute for Mands. She loved it so that is all that matters.
The reception was so fun. Got to visit with all sort of old neighbors and life long friends. Even Amanda's mission president and his wife, Kevin and Sydnee Calderwood and their daughters made it. They were friends (stake president) of ours in our Reston Ward so it was amazing to see them. They were in town dropping Laney off at BYU. Amanda was totally surprised.
The sparkler send off was a hit. The dance party was also amazing. Lots of fun dancing all over with the cute cousins and my hot hubby.
And then it was over. Packed it all up, gave away as much as people would take and headed home for the night. Happy wedding day Josh and Amanda. Sure love you two! Josh's Mom asked if she could call me for other weddings.....I told her I had to love the couple A LOT to do their wedding. Sorry, I save my skills for my favorite people.
