String Lake Day

We found a sunny day and rented and brought a bunch of floaty boats and paddle boards. With this many grandkids it takes a lot of floaty things for everyone to get a turn. We are up to twenty grandkids now including the newest addition of Heather. It will be twenty-one when Josh joins up next week. Will is enjoying the inflating process and is helper number one with the pumping up of the boats.

Luke is captaining this boat. Hold on Ally who knows where you'll end up.

Rock jumping at String Lake is a must! Tyler performs the traditional favorite Cannon Ball.
Ally prefers the straight forward jump feet first.
Luke thought about it for a half hour and then retreated back up the rock. He did attempt again later and pulled his courage together for a quick leap. It's higher than it looks! We've got Charles on life guard duty.
Carter went for the feet first variety. We saw a few flips this year out of Christopher and Josh. Glad Josh didn't die before his wedding day. That would have been bad.
Cynthia and Troy enjoying the scenery/craziness that is our family at the Lake.
Is Jonathan all dead or just mostly dead? Greg is happy with either outcome.
I just love this grin on Ty's face in this photo. What kind of sneakiness is he planning. Rachel better be worried.

A crew of littles ready to row themselves around. What a handsome boatload of little men Marie has on her hands!
Not a bad view for a day's worth of play.
My personal favorite is our trip to the Playhouse! Seven Brides for Seven Brothers was our show this year. Huckleberry shakes for intermission and loads of popcorn to snack on. Fun times with good company.
