Two cars full of Pollans heading to San Antonio to visit Great Granny and Grady Clark. We are planning on seeing the Alamo and the River Walk while we are there. Also we were going to Sea World but made a last minute unpopular change and went to the Exploratorium instead.
Grady meets new baby Walker
Jason introducing Amber to Grady while Tyler gets a Granny snuggle in the background. Fun to spend a few exhausting hours visiting with the Great Grandparents. Dolly was still kicking and happy to see us. The kids even took her out on a little walk. Jason was trying hard to get a selfie with Granny kissing on his cheek. Didn't work out for him but I got a cute shot. The kids played soccer in the backyard and we enjoyed some whip cream and pumpkin squares Laura sent along. Fun times.

Playing "Go to Sleep .... Wake UP" in an effort to keep the littles entertained while the adults chatted with Granny and Grady.
At the Hyatt looking down at the River Walk water running into the lobby. Pretty awesome hotel.
Eating dinner in Downtown SanAntonio. Fun company, cool atmosphere, great food.
The Alamo in the moonlight.
Toured the Alamo and enjoyed seeing all the Davey Crocket items. They had his jacket and his rifle.
Playing like we are little kids at the Exploratorium.
Impressive root ball chair in the courtyard. We'll take one please.
Ally dressing up with Sadie. These two girls had lots of fun!
Heading out for dinner. We enjoyed the fun Downtown atmosphere. I bought myself a Baja jacket that Byron quickly stole. I had to buy myself another one the next day. It was cooler than we had thought it would be.We took a River Walk cruise and had a little sightseeing tour. So fun to see it all lit up at night. They had all the Christmas lights strung and ready for the big reveal but we missed it by a couple days.
Funniest part of the trip was this animal safari park we drove through on our way out of town. They had all sorts of African Safari animals that would graze at the car and eat from your palm.
Crazy ostrich is not an easy animal to feed. He had us in stitches as he was bobbing and twisting at our hands. His beak made a loud snap sound as he would close onto the food you were holding praying he would not take a finger along with the grain. We all laughed our guts out and squealed like little girls.
